Blue Sky Charter’s team of event operation planners will take care of the paperwork and even set up their own operation site on the day(s) of the event - no extra hassle, worry or cost for you. We offer a six minute exhilarating helicopter flight of the event area, reaching heights in excess of 1,000 feet, at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour. In return for your permission to operate helicopters at your event, we would offer a generous commission package on a per person flown basis. At an average event, we would fly around 300 passengers. Please remember there is no cost to you, all expenses are covered by Blue Sky Charter. We cover all our operations with the latest fire and rescue cover, £12.5 million pound of public liability cover, pilots with over 1,000 hours experience on aircraft type and agreement from the Civil Aviation Authority at Gatwick. All risk assessments and insurance documentation are supplied prior to the event. Blue Sky has teamed up with some of the UK’s leading helicopter operators, located across the country, who can provide us with helicopters local to your event. This will reduce the risk of adverse weather affecting our commitment to attend, which is a risk with most operators offering helicopter pleasure flights, who may have to travel many miles just to get to the event. Blue Sky utilises only the best in the range of helicopters suitable for the event, most of which are newly refurbished and maintained to the highest standards. Our pilots are industry specialists who have flown helicopters at outdoor events with over 1,000 hours experience accumulated on aircraft type. Blue Sky will supply all public barriers and signage and set up any operating area. Blue Sky will supply the latest in rescue and first aid cover, with a minimum of two fully trained fire marshalls in attendance. All our fire marshalls are trained to the highest standards at the Coventry Fire School based at Coventry Airport. Remember there is no financial outlay for the event, as all costs are covered by Blue Sky. In return for our attendance we offer a generous commission package. Our helicopters can carry four or six passengers at any one time and we can supply multiple aircraft for the larger events.
