THE EXPERIENCE
The Lion Inn, at over 1,200 feet above sea level, has to be one of the finest eating hostelries in the UK, over 500 years old and surrounded in history.
From this impressive site your helicopter will depart and head in a North Easterly direction climbing to over 1,500 feet above the spectacular landscape of Britain's favourite National Park, then over the fictional village of Aidensfield where the famous 1960's themed TV series Heartbeat is filmed. View from the air the Aidensfield Arms, Scripps' garage and the isolated high moorland roads where much of the TV series was filmed - and maybe catch a glimpse of Albert or Gina!!
Your helicopter then turns in an Easterly direction towards the coast with the majestic splendour of Whitby Abbey and the high cliffs of Britain's fast eroding east coastline all viewed from the comfort of our VIP jetranger helicopter.
Following this impressive coastline the fantastic rock formations of Robin Hood Bay become visible as we head southwards towards the coastal hill top village of Ravenscar. Your pilot now heads inland once again over the inaccessible high tops of Wheeldale Moor and the famous Fylingdales Early Warning Radar Station keeping an ever vigilant watch on Britain's mainland security.
This is an amazing flight over an ever changing landscape that is a must for photographers, walkers and historians alike!
